Japanese Warrior Tattoos / Kabuki Theatre / Woodblock Art Print (Unisex T-Shirt)
Toyohara Kunichika (1835-1900) was a Japanese artist of the traditional Ukiyo-e school, during the late Edo period. He specialised in colourful woodblock art print, especially of actors from the Kabuki theatre, depicting Samurai warrior, Geisha and heroes of Japanese folk tales. We present this series of careful reproductions of his work as colourful and striking T-shirts, which make great gifts for lovers of vintage Japanese art and heritage. The original woodblock print resides at the Library of Congress, Washington DC.
